On August 8, I finished a course given by the Vice President of the National Guild of Hypnotists, Don Mottin and became a certified instructor (CI). This means that I am certified teach a course to certify other Hypnotherapists. I will be beginning a class in September and will be offering the curriculum in both English and Spanish.

Excited to have been invited to do a hypnosis presentation at the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers annual conference in Denver this September. http://rmfw.org/conference/
I had a wonderful experience on the plane ride home from the HypnoThoughts Live 2016 convention in Las Vegas. With their permission, I had hypnotized the very intelligent young woman sitting next to me in the middle seat to the amazement and awe of her husband in the window seat. An hour later, as we were landing (30 seconds 'til wheels down), the husband interrupted our conversation saying we should take a pause because his wife has difficulty with landings. I said to her, "Do you want me to put you to sleep while we land?" "Please do", she said. I put my hand above her eyes and dropped it saying "SLEEP", and she relaxed instantly in her seat, resting her chin on her chest. Her husband and I held her steady while we landed (it was pretty bumpy), then I said "1, 2, 3, open your eyes, fully awake and feeling good in every way". When asked by her husband, she said she just remembered me asking if she'd like to sleep through the landing, and then she woke up. That doesn't always work, but somehow, I knew it would this time. The three of us were equally surprised, amazed, and thankful. What a delightful experience to meet these wonderful folks, and how great it feels to be able to help in some small way.
